“When you’re into Latin dances, especially Salsa & Bachata, the most important thing is to have fun. On the other hand, it is worthwhile to understand and to know the technicalities of Salsa & Bachata, as they are useful in developing your instinct for the dance. From that knowledge and deeper understanding, you will start to develop the “feel” – the correct timing that will instinctively guide you to find the proper tempo for the music. This is what musicality is all about. It is how you match the form and movement to the rhythm, mood and melody of the music, which is expressed in different ways. During the workshop we will focus on the structure of Salsa and Bachata music.

How to find count «1» and distinguish it from «5».
How to interpret the breaks in the song.
Which instruments play in the song, and which parts the song consists of.
What dancing elements fit to the particular parts of the song or particular instruments, and how you can include them in your dance starting already from beginner level.”
